The starting point for creating the music was a complete lack of budget, equipment, time (with a one-month deadline), and instruments. The decision was made to produce "homemade" music—intentionally cobbled together in a makeshift fashion. The objective was to use non-studio ambient noise, poor recording quality, and the absence of performers as raw material—a task involving the deliberate manipulation of a lo-fi, DIY sound.
